1-day workshop - Cost: $110

Class cost is $90 with all materials provided by the instructor. The nonrefundable registration fee of $20 is due when you sign up for the class.

Required skills: Students must be comfortable with a basic cast-on & bind-off, as well as have a mastery of the knit stitch and purl stitch. This class will not cover these techniques, but will build on them as the foundation of more advanced knitting.

• Project pattern
• Written instructions for all techniques covered in class
• List of continued learning resources

Techniques covered:
• Various cast-ons
• Various increase stitches
• Various decrease stitches
• Reading lace charts
• Knitting even in pattern

The perfect follow-up to the springtime beginner knitting class! Take your basic knitting skills to the next level with various shaping & lace-knitting techniques to help you create your next masterpiece. Make your own lace-patterned cotton spa/dish cloth, using various increases, decreases, and lace techniques. We will cover how to keep a piece balanced while increasing or decreasing the size or incorporating a lace pattern. We will also learn how to read and create various lace patterns.
