Great Country Cooking at the Skillet Restaurant
NOW OPEN FROM 7 AM TO 8 PM DAILY
The Skillet Restaurant at the Ozark Folk Center rests atop a wooded hill overlooking a butterfly garden and wildlife feeding stations, which can be viewed by guests inside the stone, natural cedar and glass-enclosed dining rooms of the facility. A water garden lures birds, raccoons, foxes, and the occasional bear to drink from its basin. Inside, diners enjoy the country menu, weekend buffets, as well as the numerous herbal event meals designed around recipes by special guest gourmet foods experts, which highlight the use of fresh herbs and native plants in their preparation.
If you’re hungry for great country cooking, the Skillet Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the season, and offers a limited schedule of music and dining during the off-season year-round.
